Today I had some gardening to do, planting and watering but I still managed a couple of hours in the studio.  I decided to check out my animal illustrations, a job that I have been intending to do for a while.  I have about forty illustrations but only some of them will fit my ideas for a book.  Today I added some ink to some unfinished illustrations and then made plans for what I still need.  I now have several ideas and, in fact, have already researched some of the information that I need.  I imagine that about ten of my finished illustrations will work but I will need to complete a further ten.  I have ideas for the text and will be working on that over the next few weeks in between my Paris studies.  The pig book also needs to be continued but that is a collaborative one and will require a joint effort once we can schedule it into our busy lives!!  I have blogged these sketches before but not in their entirety.
