I managed to have an extra couple of hours in the studio and so a rat is added to my collection.  I am really enjoying sketching at the moment.  It is good to sometime draw without it having to be a finished product but rather a process.  I have a few more sketches to add to this group of guinea pigs, rats and rabbits.  I will work on some cats and then move on to my watercolour and ink illustrations.
My brain is constantly planning short term and long term goals and at present I have four or five separate projects that I want to achieve before the end of the year: a mock up 'animal book',  three small Paris works on canvas, a large 'under the autumn tree' painting, a small oil painting and for a complete change, a shift back in time to when I used to work with fabrics, a couple of cushion designs.  I will be happy with whatever I achieve but I will certainly never run out of ideas.
