I will blog my work for today. It is not what I would consider a finished product but more of an exercise in feeling the shape of the autumn tree.  It was to be just a pencil sketch and then for some bizarre reason I decided to add colour.  I used pencil and then found it too pale, so added watercolour pencil and finally added some watercolour paint plus ink.  The upshot is that I am not thrilled with it, especially as this is not watercolour paper!   I am super critical, even of sketches, but it is all part of the journey and that is why I am posting it.
