I decided to put in an evening session in the studio.  When I am motivated I could just keep going for hours but tomorrow is Friday and I have to be up about 6.00a.m. with things to do and places to go, and so two hours is all I could spare.  Hands are notoriously difficult although I do seem to find them easier in paint once i start blocking in light and shade.  The lower figure is overall a truer facial likeness but both hands leave me underwhelmed at present - back to the drawing board later tomorrow.  I do love a challenge!
