I managed to complete another horse sketch this afternoon.  Tomorrow will be a full day in the studio and so I expect to achieve much more.  I have been drafting some text for the books along with these preliminary sketches and so I am quite happy with the way things are going.  The next job will be to sketch one or two more animals with teeth - pigs, rabbits and then to produce watercolours of them.  Finally I will make a mock-up book and combine the text.  Who am I kidding, there are hours of work yet - but what would I do if I didn't have to keep having goals and deadlines?
