Today I worked on the Venice painting again.  I am not sure whether my 'improvements' are that noticeable to viewers of my blog.  I feel that the walls are more authentic and the plant pots to the top of the painting more finished.  There are one or two touches that I still have in mind but need to sleep on it.  My next canvas had gesso applied yesterday by my husband who prepared one for me at the same time that he prepared one for himself.  As my 'Iris from Giverny sold I can't help but return to another Giverny painting for my next work.  In the next few week I really must return to creating the next draft of our pig story, illustrated by Kevan.
