Sunday Mothers' Day and our family morning tea was a relaxed and happy get together.  Made scones this morning and with the lemon meringue pie and jam tarts with strawberries and cream ont the side we had quite a feast.  Phone calls from Sydney son and Melbourne son plus thoughtful gifts, euros for our next art trip 2016 and two fabulous books in Italian, all made for a perfect morning.
Now I am back in the studio of course as promised.  Here is a small calf study with the intention to complete one a day for the rest of the month.
