I have been trawling through my photos to see what I have in the way of landscapes so that I can continue with my wet on wet watercolour technique. I only ever use my own photographs for art work to feel ownership of the subject and composition. Of course I edit the composition as well as play around with colour, contrast and so on. Tomorrow I have some new tubes of winsor and Newton watercolour paints, some new sable brushes courtesy of Kevan, my 'kind & sharing husband'! They are very expensive so I am pleased not to have had to go and buy them. Whilst I do love working in acrylics I really do like watercolour for my work with animal illustrations along with landscape backgrounds. Ideas for tomorrow below.
