Did not finish today but will do so in the morning and start another one.  Tomorrow is 'big batch' cooking day so not sure just how much I can achieve in the studio.  I hope to have both pieces done plus the meat & vegie pies!  Will attach the beginnings of the two playful calves.  They require much more contrast plus some ink work on top.
