I had a late session on the landscape and I do think the light and shade helps to create a better mood both in the painting and in me!!  So here it is!  Tomorrow I have a few other ideas in mind which will include buildings.  I should be able to be in the studio pretty much all day so hope to have a productive one.  I know that these are quite basic but I really do not want detailed water colours for my book illustrations as I want them to match the illustrative qality of the animals.
