Thursday lunchtime now.  I  started the day by checking emails, facebook and learning Italian.  I found a video on cows being allowed back into the fields after being kept in sheds for three months of winter.  I like to focus on the animals and their personalities and have been observing the cows in samford village for some months now.  All of this helps me to capture their personality as I create.

I drew out the study that I did yesterday because, even though Kevan, my husband, liked it I still felt the need to do it again.  I then made some scones for morning tea which we subsequently ate - well a couple anyway!

I then came back into the studio and spent some time sketching the outline two further studies.  Here they are a below.  Another session in the studio after lunch should see some blocking in.  my aim is to have bigger groupings with some 'high jinx' to help inspiration for text.
