Today I have worked on the skirt, foreground leaves and finally blocked in the hair.  I will work on the face before continuing on the hair but I just wanted the underpainting on the hair at least to the basic stage.  The hair, obviously has to have many highlights and longer strands once I am happy with the face.  The angle is tricky because it does not reveal much of the features.  I think the face may be a little small and so I will check the measurements again - I don't tend to actually measure with a ruler but estimate ratio of head to body etc.
