I have just finished my last session for today.  Much of the work has been filling in light paint with extra layers as well as adding extra detail, especially around the shirt and jacket.  the face is simply blocked in and awaiting detailing.  The hands require some mid-ground colour plus some attention to highlighted areas so that they will have a true feel.  The path is needing a few more leaves to the left of the canvas and finally the hair will require some work.  At least another week's work before I will be happy to think it is finished.  It is easy to go on too long - always a problem with artists is knowing when to stop - but no where near yet!
