Almost there!  I have lightened the distance ground.  I find at this stage that I could go on and on and sometimes that is not always a good thing.  I will try to behave with restraint!  Our exhibition is Saturday week and it won't be framed by then but I will have it on display.  Later in the year I intend to work on at least one more study of her, but in oils.  I normally only use my own photographs because of my pedantic need to create my own composition but I intend to make an exception and use one of her father's photograph's.  She is such a delightful subject that it has been an absolute joy working on this canvas.  There is such a slight difference in this image but it is the slight differences that matter to the artist and hopefully to the viewer.
