I skipped my exercise this morning to make an early start in the studio! I have been working all over the canvas, fixing smaller details, such as raising the shoulder left of the canvas, fixing the overall shape of the hair, giving more definition to the path in the foreground, working some greys into the distance, redefining the thumb on the lefthand side , realigning the left edge of the cardigan.  I will now let it dry before adding the hair which falls over the face as she leans forward to look at the pile of autumn leaves.  Ahh...Paris, how I miss you!
