This morning I, once again, focused on a a demonstration sketch.  I lightly pencilled the outline, then added darks, followed by some mid shades but leaving the absolute light areas as the paper.  The private classes are flexible and so, whilst the next class has not yet been decided, I work all the time so that I am ready to continue with the next step.  The last class focused on drawing techniques, and drawing materials with a sharing of subject matter for art journaling.  I still have to add ink lines to the sketch.
