I have written diaries/journals for a long time but it is only in recent years that i have created art journals.  There is an incredible following for art journaling with local community groups and world gatherings of like-minded people.  I am a bit of a loner when I am actually working in an art work, be it a basic art journal page or a large painting.  I am, on the other hand, quite sociable in most other instances.  Teaching forces you to share your skills and, because of this, I have actually enjoyed demonstrating to others - still tending to be solitary when total focus is needed.  I am still working on my delayed journal from the end of last year - so not completed in situe but in the studio at home!  I will share my latest pages later today!
