This morning I decided to make a start on preliminary drawings for autumn in Jardin du Luxembourg from my 2015 September trip.  My first drawing is of a little girl shuffling through the autumn leaves, an activity so reminiscent of my childhood.  i wish that i had taken more photographs as I really do not have any of her face.  it is always difficult in today's, sometimes troublesome, world.  I am sensitive to people's need for privacy, especially with regard to children, and so the painting will be more about capturing the movement and the emotion in the activity.
