It is amazing that I have even painted this week but, as always, I expect myself to achieve something every day unless I am bed-ridden.  I have added slight adjustments to my current painting whilst returning to my previous painting.  Sometimes a painting can be a struggle for no apparent reason; it may be composition, size of figures, lack of contrast, lack of dynamic quality, but whatever it is no amount of teasing and fiddling satisfies the artist.  Sometimes when progress is being made we are at our most critical!  Anyway, however I am feeling, there are some positives and I will share the latest stages.   The two ladies please me because I have achieved the tilt of the heads, and the simple painterly technique that I have been striving for!
