i decided to have a final hour in the studio!  Sometimes when the end of a painting is near it is really hard to walk away and leave it until the next day.  I still have to sign it but I don't intend to do a great deal more to it.  With this kind of study it can easily become overworked and then loses the freedom that I am trying to achieve.  Life can be quite complicated in the art world.  There are constant problems to solve along with lots of nagging doubts but, in spite of all the tension and even extreme frustration at times, the joy of following your passion far outways any negativity!
