Another quiet day at home!  The layering effect is happening on 'Place Saint Sulpice'. I am gradually building up colour and tone - sometimes additions detract but mostly they enhance.  Every new subject has its tricky bits.  I don't think it would matter how many paintings you did there would always be new problems to solve - that is what keeps artists motivated I guess.
