Wednesday morning and i have already cycled 50km, watered the garden, practised Italian and added some contrast to the Piccolo Latte glass!  I have a leaning towards adding more and more but knowing when to stop in order to keep the freedom is vital in what I am trying to achieve and, for that reason, I have stopped.  I could add a little more pen and ink but not right now - I will wait until I have about a dozen or more studies and then have a further look before deciding which to frame and which to mount only.  At our July exhibition there will be a selection of smaller, more readily affordable items on sale in addition to our original works.  I wanted to also have these smaller originals for clients who prefer originals to prints.  Sometimes smaller works enhance a study, kitchen or conservatory area.  However,  I am always driven by the art experience more than the commercial aspect and hope that the joy comes through in my work.
