It is my intention to work simultaneously on my travel journal and a daily journal so that I can enjoy painting some of the cups from my new collection - inspired by Liz Steele!  Liz puts so much energy into her urban sketches with her architectural skills clearly evident, particularly in her building works.  I am particularly taken with her tea cups, the freedom, the colour and of course the social connection of eating and drinking tea or coffee!  I have developed an obsession for collecting cups and saucers and am enjoying the joy of drinking from 'things of beauty'!  I have many other plans in the pipeline but more of those later.  Next week will be the start of my daily cuppa sketch journal!  For now - just photos but next week sketching from life!
