My cup and saucer for today is somewhat geometric!  I bought it from Paddington Antique Centre yesterday specifically for painting!  However, I discovered with my first drink in it that it had a crack in it!  The crack only showed up with the coffee in it!  So, it may be my first and last drink from it!  The pattern has been hand-painted on the cup and so different from the more fluid designs I would normally choose - a motivating factor in itself!  I have inked in the outline and tomorrow will see the watercolour applied.
