When I was in Paris October 2105, last year, I had several delicious desserts and my painting for today is one of them.  The cafe, Le Valentin, is at the far end of Galerie Jouffroy.  It is one of my favourite eateries and I have been there several times and tried different desserts but la Palmerosa is my favourite has a praline base and has small pieces of grapefruit in a mousse - miam! miam!
I have only the outline inked in at this stage, so more later.  The knife is too long - need to foreshorten!1
