This dessert was consumed at the Musee d'Orsay in Paris before I tackled the viewing of the paintings.  The gallery, and converted railway station, is one of my favourites, and very close to rue de Sevres the area where I used to live..  I actually wanted the Tarte Tatin but chose this one for its appearance!  I loved the colour and the little speckles of gold!  I have more to do but thought I would share this stage before going for lunch.
