Today was not a painting day but a clean-up day in the studio!  I have to do that periodically, especially if I am about to start a new painting.  My part of the studio is also a gallery and so I can't afford to let things get too messy.  Even if it was just a studio space I think I would still need to have fresh starts every so often.  Tomorrow will need to start with cycling as I missed today's exercise.  I will then do some gardening and hopefully begin a new painting - I think the time is right.  I do have one more dessert to paint from our Tuesday morning at Room of Roses in the Brisbane Arcade. I asked for the prettiest dessert and was advised that the petits fours would be the best choice!
