Today I decided on my next painting and sketched the basic composition.  The subject is based on a group of people with umbrellas outside one of the few cafes that were open on the day we were there.  It was cold and a little miserable outside but warm inside where we devoured hot crepes!   We will have visitors to the gallery in the morning but I should be able to paint in the basic shapes tomorrow afternoon.  On Sunday afternoon I hope to have the contrasts mapped in.
