I have plans for my next painting that will focus on Giverny once more but I also have some animals in mind that I would like to capture on canvas.  I guess I am always thinking ahead and the problem is that I like so many strands of art.  I may eventually specialize but at present I want to tackle everything in turn and not limit myself to what I think I can do but to try things that I know will be a challenge.  I have not forgotten that I want to study life drawing but for the moment, I will need to wait until I have exhausted my present plans.

Whilst Kevan, my husband and I were sketching in Rome this cat was skulking around us, as cats do in Rome!  I was quite happy with the cat's coat and thought that it had a portrait-like feel, which was my intention.   Anyway here is 'Il gatto di Roma'.  All my originals and my husband's can be viewed on: www.rigmarole.com.au
