How the days whizz by!  It is late afternoon already but I have completed my sketch of the day as planned.  It is amazing how much more art work gets done when you have a studio.  At the time we made the decision to build a studio we did not even consider how we would fund it, thinking only of how good our lifestyle would be if we had one.  I have completed another shell study and I must admit that I found this particular shell quite difficult.  I intended to use only pencil but ended up using pen and ink.  I would quite like to try the same shell with watercolour or coloured inks.
