Wednesday today and had the morning in the studio.  I worked on the rose canvas again.  I will spend the afternoon in here as well and so will blog later today.  At the moment I am battling colour and am striving to make the colours as vibrant as possible.  It is a constant build up of colour and contrast and expect the work to continue into next week.  It is important not to overwork the brush strokes and to give the paint time to dry so that the paint does not become dull.  Here is the current image of this work in progress.
