Today I have worked on the shadows, made re-adjustments to the placement of the eye on my left and still have to raise the eye on my right.  I am flitted all over the painting at the moment.  I have also worked on the mouth and teeth without making the teeth too definite.  Observing the negative space helps me as well as periodically photographing the work and then comparing the stages to see what I like and don't like.
