The weather is hot at the moment and by midday it is difficult to feel creative.  My art student, who comes on a Tuesday morning, will skip the art class, on Australia Day, next Tuesday.  I have been teaching the fundamentals of drawing and we have covered an incredible amount in two sessions.  The next session will include some work on trees - by special request.  I have already been out photographing some interesting specimens.  Before our next class I will produce numerous samples using a variety of media.  Thought I would create some bookmarks, greetings cards and miniature canvases which could be used as samples in the class.  Will post some during the next week!The first three are my own photographs followed by three downloaded samples.  (not of my work as yet)
