Today I managed to have two sessions in the studio and so the painting is beginning to be blocked in.  I tend to work the painting as a whole, focusing initially on line, shape and gradually increasing the contrast as I go.  By constantly looking from afar other issues of size and perspective are adjusted as required.  Every work is a challenge, every work poses different problems but maybe that is part of what I like about creativity.  Tomorrow I will come back ready to look at it with fresh eyes and continue the process.
