Yesterday I sketched the outline of a market that we walked through in 16th arrondissement in Paris.  We had just visted the Musee Marmottan, easily accessed from Metro La Mouette.  The art Gallery is small but beautiful and not overcrowded.  After having morning tea at a boulangerie/cafe we stumbled across this little street market.  Today I blocked in the study in paint.  The series I am currently working on focuses on the people rather than the location but nevertheless the location places the subjects firmly in what they are engaged in.  In this instance it is the every day activities are that interest me rather than the tourist attractions, unless the tourist attractions are a backdrop to the main focus.
