Thursday already!  Yesterday I worked on my current painting.  Getting the contrast just right is always tricky and really struggled with the dimensions of the face but, after wiping it off completely and starting again I decided to leave well alone until today.  The dogs are being to take shape now.  Striking a balance between being free and having sufficient detail is always a challenge, likewise maintaining brightness when adding white to colours.  Avoiding the addition of white for the beginning stages seems to be helpful.
