Whilst it may seem that I am not creating many new artworks I am actually working hard to produce
publicity material for my upcoming art classes. A series of five 'Art Travel Journal' classes will be on offer in June, and will be offered on consecutive days, Fridays and Saturdays. As I will limit the classes to a maximum of six people I wanted to offer a couple of opportunities should the numbers exceed that amount. I am currently continuing to research and put together an art kit that will be available for purchase. It is important to use good quality materials to produce the best results and with that in mind I have shopped around to obtain the best quality goods within an affordable budget. If students bring along materials that are below par it is likely that they will not experience positive outcomes. On a personal level I often spend more than I can afford but shop around much more for bargains if I am buying for others! At present I have ordered the journals and have already purchased a selection of pens and brushes. At present I am debating as to whether I add watercolours and aquarelle pencils to the kit or do I include the use of mine in the course - I will keep an open mind as I continue to research. Beginners could stick to some key colours and a small collection of aquarelles ... time will tell!! I tried to download my publicity sheet but it wouldn't allow and so here are a few of the visuals minus the information that included times and contact details.
