I have just realised that I didn't blog yesterday's finished work, another 'ice-cream' study!  There will always be some finished works that we prefer and this is one of those.  Every so often we produce something below par and, even though all the experts say that these are the ones that we learn from and to keep them, it can be so irritating.   So-called failures and successes may be more about composition than with technical drawing or painting and so it is pretty important to get that right initially.
