Tuesday I give an art class so fully occupied today.   The first half was a 'show and tell' of all the tree studies completed this week plus some useful handouts on tree forms.  Feed back on home studies duly shared before deciding to use the last two lessons to focus on a tree painting.(student's own photograph/composition) The remainder of today's session focused on drawing a shell from my wide collection.  I had a couple of sketches from 2014 but demonstrated the one chosen for today.  When you photograph the object and the drawing flaws in the form are more easily detected!
