Finally began a new painting after much deliberation.  Covering my canvas with Gesso last night certainly propelled me into action today.  Needless to say this is in its very early stages.  I have pencilled in a basic outline of the rocks with the figure in the foreground.  The scene is in Cornwall - June 2013 but the water was still very cold.  I am hoping that my love of the figures of Degas and Renoir may reflect a little of their influence.
