Another day over!  I need to pack up because we are off to an art exhibition in the city in about half an hour.  'Isabella from Cornwall' is coming along...still much work to do.  The figure has not even been worked on yet.  Normally I work on everything together all over the canvas applying layer upon layer.  I have deviated from my usual method and will not be attempting the figure until I am near to being satified with the background and I am not there yet.
