I have spent the past two or three days planning my next painting and today I will map it out and underpaint.  Our first exhibition will centre around our material from our overseas trip, including subjects from Italy, France, England and New York.  Much of my work focuses on Burano, Giverny, Devon and Cornwall.  I already have five Giverny paintings but I love it so much that I seem to keep coming back to it.  After completing a sketch a day for twenty-eight days I feel the need to return to larger works for a while.   Having had a forced break from large works after my broken ribs incident I have procrastinated long enough and must now force myself to begin again.  My next goal is to complete one painting a week for the next six weeks and blog the progress as it occurs.  Here is the beginning of the pathway to Monet's house.
