In 2013 Kevan, my husband and I, created and went on an art holiday to Italy, France, England and New York.  We visited key areas Rome, Florence, Venice, Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Avignon, Arles, Paris, London, Devon, Cornwall and finally Paris.  Throughout the trip I completed a daily art journal using coloured pencil and ink.  We completed some sketches outdoors.  Next year we plan to go again and it is my plan to complete art journals again but possibly in watercolour next time.  Another possibility is to paint en plein air and to attend a few courses whilst over there.  At present I am at the research level.  Perhaps I may be able to post some of my ideas here.  Kevan is happy for me to research and then we select the things that appeal to both of us.
